Job summary

MacLean Power Systems, headquartered in Fort Mill, SC, is seeking a seasoned professional to develop and implement organizational changes that promote quality and efficiency improvements.

You will evaluate internal processes, establish KPIs, oversee implementation of changes, and ensure compliance with 5S and safety policies, leveraging Lean/Six Sigma practices. The role requires leadership, mentoring and strong communication to drive cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience.
  • Lean, Six Sigma or related certification may be required.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good judgement and attention to detail.

Job Summary

Develops and implements organizational changes meant to promote quality and efficiency improvements.

Job Duties
  • Evaluate internal processes and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Establish key performance indicators for functions being reviewed, evaluate current state and propose future state goals and objectives
  • Oversee implementation of process changes and track progress towards efficiency or quality goals
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
  • Perform work with a high degree of latitude
  • Handle the most complex issues
  • Possess expert knowledge of subject matter
  • Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to subordinate group
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience
