Job summary

Omni One in Wilmington, OH is seeking an Electronic Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will drive quality initiatives for electronics products, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and help ensure compliance with quality systems. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in electronics (bachelors preferred), 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, and experience with APQP and ISO-9001.

SMT soldering skills are a plus; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• An Associates degree in Electronics or related field; Bachelors preferred.
• Knowledge of APQP and ISO-9001 processes.
• Circuit board and soldering experience, SMT preferred.
• 2-5 years in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective/preventive actions for suppliers, customers and internal processes regarding product quality and processes.
• Implement statistical process control and quality measures to ensure processes are efficient and cost effective.
• Coordinate APQP processes with suppliers and customers.
• Work with HR to set up employee training requirements related to QMS.

Duties of the Quality Engineer Include:

• Perform corrective/preventive actions for suppliers, customers and internal processes regarding the quality of product and processes.
• Implement statistical process control and appropriate quality measures to ensure all processes are efficient and cost effective.
• Coordinate APQP processes with suppliers and customers.
• Work closely with the human resources department to set up employee training requirements related to QMS.

Requirements for the Quality Engineer include:

• At least an Associates degree in Electronics or a related field, with a Bachelors degree preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with APQP and ISO-9001 processes.
• Circuit board and soldering experience, preferably SMT.
• 2-5 years in related experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
