Job summary

VBeyond Corporation in Wichita, KS is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead RCCA activities, perform 8-D, fishbone, and 5 Why analyses, and ensure quality is engineered into aerospace products.

Responsibilities include creating and reviewing process verification and manufacturing work instructions, coordinating improvements on the shop floor, conducting design reviews for producibility, and communicating with engineering, tooling, production, and quality teams to meet schedules and customer

Qualifications

• Experience performing RCCA using 8-D, fishbone diagrams and 5 Why analyses.
• Ability to create and review process verification instructions and manufacturing work instructions.
• Ability to plan and coordinate value additions/improvements on the shop floor.
• Ability to perform design reviews to ensure that quality is engineered into the product.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with engineering, tooling, production, and quality teams.
• Present investigation documents and processes to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and present solutions to approving teams including the customer.
• Participate in design and product reviews to ensure producibility, inspectability, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met.
• Communicate with all teams (engineering, tooling, production, quality) to assure the product is completed correctly and on schedule to the customer.
• Present Investigation documents and Process with leadership.

• Capable to coordinate and present the solution to approving team including the customer.
• Participates in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspect ability, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met
• Communication with all teams (engineering, tooling, production, quality) to assure the product is completed correctly and on schedule to the customer.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
• Blueprint reading ( 2D drawings)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering
• Typically, 2 to 5 year of experience in an Quality engineering classification / position
• Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
