The Quality Engineer develops and implements systems to ensure products or services are designed and produced to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations and establishes the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control for the quality management system. This role participates in the change management process to assure the products or services continue to meet customer requirements and provides independent oversight and review of the project deliverables throughout the lifecycle. Provides quality engineering support in matters of non-conformance processing, root cause analysis and Acceptance Test Program requirements. They will maintain key metrics, provide support to Inspection personnel, ensure compliance for all products, and assure prompt responses to customer requests.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export‑controlled technology. Whippany Actuation Systems will require proof of status before employment.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $82,000 to $105,000 per year. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. If hired, the employee will be in an "at‑will" position.
