Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Oversee all quality functions for programs, ensuring compliance from initial contract to final delivery.
- Spearhead internal and external quality audits, verifying adherence to customer and company standards.
- Develop, write, and execute comprehensive quality plans.
- Drive quality processes, including material review board (MRB), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and failure investigations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or materials engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Control / Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of composite materials.
- Experience with CATIA.
- Familiarity with aviation standard AS9100.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aviation industry safety protocols and quality standards.
- Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and a strong attention to detail.
Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to perform a variety of physical activities, including standing, walking, and working in various positions for extended periods. The ability to lift and handle materials, as well as to climb, balance, kneel, bend, and crouch, is required to access work areas and perform tasks. The role involves using a full range of motion in the upper and lower body.
Travel Requirements: Willing and able to travel internationally for paid training to include obtaining and maintaining a valid passport.
