Job summary

Enjet Aero seeks an organized, experienced quality engineer to improve procedures and collaborate on new quality controls within our aerospace systems.

You will interpret drawings and specs, develop quality plans, and work across teams to ensure compliance and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years of QA/quality engineering experience.
• Pratt & Whitney experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of print reading, ASME-Y-14.5 and AS9102.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, PPAP and GD&T.
• AS9100 quality standards experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity desired.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer drawings, specifications and contract requirements to develop and implement quality plans and inspection.
• Developed and submits FAIRs to Internal and External Customers.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to evaluate and measure compliance to the company, industry, and customer requirements.
• Develop, review and analyze statistical data obtained from manufacturing processes.
• Develop, review, and analyze Gage R&R studies.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Position Description:

We are seeking an organized, experienced quality engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will work to improve existing procedures and processes within our system and collaborate with team members to build new quality controls, tests, and verifications. You should have sound experience establishing and testing parameters, a history of participating in peer reviews and the ability to design and implement control systems for quality assurance.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Pratt & Whitney experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of print reading, ASME-Y-14.5 and AS9102 completion.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, PPAP and working knowledge of GD&T.
• AS9100 quality standards experience.
• Familiarity in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is desired.
