Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure development products meet specified requirements and comply with internal and external standards.

The role involves leading root cause investigations, FMEA, design verification/validation testing, and developing documentation for design control activities. You will participate in supplier qualification, design transfer with external manufacturers, and audits to maintain alignment with corporate policies and regulatory

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Advocating for product excellence and quality is essential.
  • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally is important.

Responsibilities

  • Lead root cause investigations, FMEA, design verification/validation testing, inspection method development, acceptance criteria creation and process validation/verification.
  • Develop protocols and reports to clearly document the previous design control activities.
  • Participate in qualification and design transfer activities with external manufacturers.
  • Conduct external audits of new suppliers and internal audits of the quality system to align with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support maintenance of existing products including design changes, process changes, supplier changes, remediation, recertification, and brand extensions.

The Quality Engineer is accountable for ensuring that Eos development products meet specified requirements and are tested to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Responsibilities

  • Leading root cause investigation, failure mode effects analysis, design verification/validation testing, inspection method development, acceptance criteria creation and process validation/verification.
  • Develop protocols and reports to clearly document the previous design control activities.
  • Participate in the qualification and design transfer activities with external manufacturers.
  • Conduct external audits of new suppliers as part of the new product development and internal audits of the quality system to assure alignment to corporate policies, internal standards/requirements, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of existing products including but not limited to design changes, process changes, supplier changes, remediation, recertification, and brand extensions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for product excellence and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross-functionally.
  • Electrical and/or mechanical product knowledge is preferred.
  • Design control or new product development is preferred.
  • Quality engineering experience is highly preferred.
