Standard Nuclear, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to support our nuclear manufacturing operations in Oak Ridge, TN.
You will implement quality controls, lead root-cause investigations, and drive CAPA across production, procurement, and inspection activities. This hands-on role ensures compliance with NQA-1, ISO 9001 and related DOE/NRC requirements while collaborating with engineering and supply chain to improve process quality, reliability, and documentation.

The Quality Engineer supports Standard Nuclear’s quality management system by ensuring manufacturing processes, materials, and products meet internal and regulatory quality standards. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement quality controls, investigate nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement across production operations.
This is a hands‑on engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment. The Quality Engineer supports inspection and verification activities while leading root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements to strengthen product quality and operational reliability. The role contributes tomaintainingcompliance with NQA-1 and other applicable regulatory and industry quality standards while helping scale manufacturing operations safely and efficiently.

This positionoperatesin office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments supporting production and engineering operations.
The role may involve time on the manufacturing floor supporting inspections, troubleshooting quality issues, and working with production teams.
Employees maybe requiredto stand for extended periods,lift upto 50lbs, and wearappropriate personalprotective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, or other required PPE.
