The ideal candidate will have a strong quality background, good understanding of regulated manufacturing environments, and the ability to work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Document Control, and Customer Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program in accordance with applicable requirements, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, ASME NQA-1, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
  • Review customer purchase orders, specifications, quality clauses, and technical requirements to ensure quality requirements are properly identified and flowed down.
  • Support nuclear product release activities, including review of quality documentation, inspection records, test reports, certificates of conformance, and traceability documentation.
  • Assist with internal audits, supplier audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Support preparation and response activities for external audits, including NRC, NUPIC, customer, and ISO audits.
  • Initiate, investigate, and support closure of nonconformances, corrective actions, preventive actions, and quality incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and support effective corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.
  • Support supplier qualification, supplier performance monitoring, and annual supplier evaluations.
  • Review and support disposition of nonconforming material in coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality leadership.
  • Support commercial grade dedication activities, critical characteristic reviews, and objective evidence verification, as applicable.
  • Assist with Part 21 evaluations and ensure potential safety‑related issues are properly documented, reviewed, and escalated.
  • Support document control, procedure updates, training requirements, and quality record retention activities.
  • Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide quality support to production areas to ensure compliance with approved procedures, drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
  • Participate in cross‑functional problem‑solving activities related to product quality, process control, and customer concerns.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Quality.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, corrective action processes, nonconformance management, document control, and audit practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, purchase order requirements, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.

Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job‑related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
