Job summary

Slip Robotics in Norcross, GA, is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead field returns investigations and resolve complex system failures across our autonomous robotic platforms.

You will perform root-cause analyses, collaborate with Engineering, Production and Service teams, manage CAPA, and develop testing approaches to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Proficiency reading engineering drawings, schematics and CAD.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience performing diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Root Cause Investigation: perform hands-on forensic analysis of field returns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Engineering, Production and Service teams to translate findings into improvements.
• CAPA Management: lead the Corrective and Preventive Action process and verify effectiveness.
• Develop Quality Tools/Testing: create methods to eliminate or detect defects in-house.

Slip Robotics is a B2B Robotics-as-a-Service company deploying autonomous loading and unloading robots at warehouse and fulfillment sites across North America. Our customers include some of the largest shippers and 3PLs in the industry. We build the robots, we deploy them, and we keep them running - and we're scaling fast.

The Quality Engineer will lead the technical investigation into field returns and complex system-level failures. You will be the "detective" of the organization, using engineering principles and understanding of the robot's operation to identify root causes and drive design or process changes to prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities:

• Root Cause Investigation: Perform hands-on forensic analysis of mechanical and electrical field returns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Production and Service teams to gather data necessary to perform analysis and translate findings into actionable design or process improvements.
• CAPA Management: Lead the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process, ensuring that solutions are verified and effective.
• Develop Quality Tools/Testing: Understand sources of defects and create the ability to either eliminate the causes or detect the presence of defects in-house.
