Job summary

Raymond Corporation in Greene, NY is seeking a Quality Engineer to evaluate and resolve technical problems across electro-mechanical assemblies, harnesses, and embedded systems. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and suppliers to implement robust quality processes and drive improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, strong quality skills, and experience with GD&T. Travel about 25% domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a professional license.
• Experience in quality engineering or related roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T and quality systems used in manufacturing or software.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality techniques to electro-mechanical assemblies, fabrication, welding, harnesses, cables and formulated materials.
• Develop processes and procedures for Quality Management systems.
• Evaluate quality issues and develop documented solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
• Support QA for embedded systems and telematics.

The Role:

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Use extensive technical skills,expertise, and knowledge of quality techniques as applied to electro-mechanicalassemblies,fabrication, weldingtechniques,harnesses and cables, and formulated materials.
• Develop processes/procedures for Quality Management systems
• Evaluate technical quality issues and develop solutions with documentation provided
• Understandmanufacturing processes withexpertisein electronics, electronic assemblies,harnesses,mechanical assemblies as well as fabricated, machined, and welded parts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
• Be a key member of the team in completion and resolution of large, consequential quality system projects.
• Be knowledgeable in quality assurance for software developmentpertaining toembedded systems, and telematics.
• You’llbe the go-to for quality assurance for alternate energy storage systems and auto-guided vehicles.

• Ability to interpretGD&Tengineering drawings

• Understanding of lean techniques and continuous improvement

WhatYour Total Compensation & Benefits Package willlook like:

Salary-$64,440- $94,667 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
