Copeland in Natchitoches, LA is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead root cause analyses and drive corrective actions across internal quality processes. You will coordinate audits, train auditors, and support ISO 9001-based quality management initiatives.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to reduce waste and variation, maintain control plans and PFMEAs, and monitor key metrics while applying Six Sigma tools for process improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and auditing.
• Root cause analysis proficiency (5-Why, Fishbone, A3, DMAIC, etc)

Responsabilidades

• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for internal quality issues.
• Participate in Lean daily management meetings (Tier 3/4).
• Develop and maintain product and process verification methods.
• Conduct quality audits and train personnel on audit procedures.
• Coach auditors on quality standards and methods.
• Monitor key quality metrics (PPM, scrap performance).
• Support customer complaints through containment, investigation and corrective actions.
• Participate in product teardown and failure analysis activities.
• Develop and maintain control plans and PFMEAs.
• Identify trends in quality data and drive improvements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply statistical quality tools to predict and prevent issues.
• Work with CMM equipment, GD&T, and engineering standards.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and housekeeping requirements.

Based in our Natchitoches location, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Quality-related initiatives to strengthen every aspect of assembly Quality within the Alliance compressors facility.
