Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Manage the internal audit process to ensure QMS compliance.
  • Create, collect, analyze, and maintain company performance metrics (on-time delivery, non-conformances, supplier defects).
  • Ensure inspection and quality-control equipment meets standards and propose improvements.
  • Compile and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with Engineering on corrective measures.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Interface with customer and government quality representatives for audits and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support quality inspections to ensure efficient processing and maintain production lines.

Job description

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Manage the internal audit process to ensure QMS compliance.
  • Create, collect, analyze, and maintain company performance metrics, including on-time delivery, non-conformances, and supplier defects; report results to the broader organization.
  • Ensure inspection and quality-control equipment meets required standards and recommend improvements to procedures, processes, standards, and equipment.
  • Compile and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, collaborate with Engineering, and advise other departments on corrective measures.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Interface with customer and government quality representatives regarding audits, corrective actions, acceptance testing, and other quality-related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support quality inspections to ensure the efficient processing of parts and maintain manufacturing production lines.
  • Develop, maintain, and deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into actionable quality requirements.
  • Analyze quality program requirements and prepare quality plans, procedures, and schedules to ensure effective quality support and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality-control procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to quality-control activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a U.S. Person or a non-U.S. Person eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with inspection, quality control, and quality assurance methods, techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9100 requirements.
  • Knowledge of statistical quality-control techniques.
  • Experience using a variety of measuring instruments.
