We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a solid background in Quality Management to drive the quality agenda within a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ASQ, IATF, Corrective Actions, Document Control, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
• Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
• Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
• Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.
• Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
• Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
• Undertake regular internal and process audits of the QMS.
• Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non-conformities found.
• Verify closure of non-conformities with Certification Bodies.
• Report clear and concise quality reports to the Management Team.
• Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quality Management within the Engineering industry.
• Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ CQE, CMQ/OE) preferred.
• Proven experience and knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.
• Strong experience in Document Control.
• Proficiency in Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
