Job summary

Woodward HRT, Inc. is seeking a QUALITY ENGINEER II to support aerospace and automotive quality systems on-site. You will drive QA execution, analyze issues, and mentor teammates while collaborating with engineering and production to raise product quality.

ITAR/EAR compliance is required. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in regulated manufacturing and Six Sigma or ASQ certification. Woodward offers a comprehensive benefits package including retirement, stock contributions, tuition

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma certified and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
  • ITAR/EAR compliance with U.S. Person status.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance Execution: Implements and monitors QA processes to ensure product standards are met.
  • Problem Analysis: Identifies and resolves quality issues by data analysis and technical judgment.
  • Team Mentorship: Provides informal guidance to new team members on quality practices.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partners with engineering, production and other departments to improve quality.
  • Quality Reporting: Documents metrics and improvement recommendations to stakeholders.
