You will develop PFMEAs, control plans, MSAs and verification routines, analyze data with tools like Excel and Minitab, and drive root-cause actions using 8D discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in engineering.
• One year of quality-related manufacturing experience.
• U.S. ITAR compliance requirement; eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and reduces process and product variation using statistical tools.
• Establishes and maintains quality assurance standards and procedures.
• Performs Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and analyzes data.
• Develops PFMEAs, process control plans, and verification tests.
• Identifies root causes and drives corrective actions using 8D discipline.
• Supports HPTW and other duties as assigned.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Job SummaryMonitors and reduces process and product variation by statistical tools, including the use of ProLaunch and the Eaton Quality System. Establishes, coordinates and maintains quality assurance standards and procedures; collects, computes, analyzes and reports said quality data as statistical records; conducts required quality testing and develops quality program plans in accordance with supplier, customer, and contract specifications. Quality liaison for customers as required. Supports VSM manager and HPWT as it relates to projects and Quality objectives.Job Responsibilities*Supports new and existing products through the implementation of Quality systems and techniques that comply with customer and regulatory requirements.*Responsible for overall product quality primarily of Boeing Commercial or Military and Commercial product lines by establishing effective monitoring of product and process quality through development, implementation and maintenance of assembly and verification instructions, process control plans, PFMEAs and final product verification requirements.*Perform and interpret Measurement System Analysis*Apply and explain statistical data to all levels of the organization*Identification and elimination of areas of variation throughout the manufacturing process.*Determine root cause corrective actions and work through failure analysis utilizing 8D problem solving discipline*Identify and reduce costs of nonconformance: scrap, warranty, rework, etc.*Support HPTW and other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.• (1) One year of experience in a quality related role within a manufacturing environment.• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
