Job summary

Quality Engineer

LHH is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Professional to join a client of ours based in the manufacturing space. In this role, you’ll work closely with plant operations and customers to resolve quality concerns, drive continuous improvement, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain quality systems to ensure compliance with QS/ISO/IATF standards.
• Lead 8D corrective actions for customer complaints and internal issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with plant supervisors and operators to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Conduct internal audits and Layered Process Audits (LPAs).
• Manage documentation for PPAP submissions and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain FMEA, PFMEA, flow charts, and measurement equipment records.
• Support special projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in Quality.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, SPC, and measurement techniques.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Proficient in project management and highly organized.
• Familiarity with QS/ISO/IATF standards and environmental declarations (RoHS, REACh).
