Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
The Quality Engineer will lead quality assurance efforts across plant operations and supplier performance. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, ensuring product consistency, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement quality improvements.
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures aligned with ASTM, UL, and FM standards.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for production issues.
- Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure material quality and compliance.
- Resolve raw material defects and drive supplier corrective actions.
- Investigate customer complaints and report findings in partnership with Sales.
- Conduct quality testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Report quality metrics and project updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with materials testing (viscosity, adhesion, tensile).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.
Salary Range
$70,000-$85,000
