Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team at SBS. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, experienced in quality assurance within manufacturing environments, and passionate about driving continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Create and implement testing and inspection protocols for products throughout the production process.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and approval of First Article Inspection reports in accordance with the AS9102 Rev C standard.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and other methodologies.
• Investigate product defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field (Must).
• 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering.
• Experience within aerospace, avionics, or electronics integration/manufacturing (Advantage).
• Familiarity with IPC standards (Advantage).
• Experience in FAA Part 145 environments (Advantage).
• Proficiency in QMS, statistical analysis, and improvement methodologies.
• Experience with quality tools/software (e.g., Net‑Inspect, SAP).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Occasional travel required.

Work Environment

This role operates in indoor settings, including office and warehouse/airplane hangar environments, requiring the use of standard office equipment and safety gear. Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration may occur.
