Job summary

Enjet Aero, LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products and processes meet customer quality standards from development through post-manufacturing. You’ll identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive quality control systems across manufacturing.

Responsibilities include data analysis, process documentation, internal audits, and training personnel on customer quality specifications. Experience in aerospace and AS9100 is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as Quality Engineer.
  • Experience with SPC data gathering and reporting.
  • Experience in MSA evaluations such as Gage R&R.
  • Experience in CMM programming and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 QMS and AS9102 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with all departments to solve problems and develop solutions, including deviations through customer portals.
  • Create process documentation to validate requirements across all product phases.
  • Monitor manufacturing changes and report to supervisor for adoption in estimates and processes.
  • Assist in determining gauging requirements and streamline inspection costs and methods.
  • Assist in designing in-process drawings and tool designs.
  • Review non-conformance docs and initiate corrective actions; maintain databases.
  • Participate in Process Control including SPC implementation, training, and data analysis.
  • Work with departments; assist with internal audit program.
  • Perform contract review regarding quality requirements.
  • Able to prepare and present FAIR packages to customers.
  • Interpret customer specifications and standards.
  • Train personnel on customer quality specifications.
  • Follow safety policies; develop and train to standard SOPs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Description: Quality engineers ensure that a company's products and processes from development to post-manufacturing meet customer quality standards by identifying risks, developing corrective measures, and implementing quality control systems

  • Effectively communicates with all departments to solve problems and develop solutions, including deviations through various customer portals
  • Creates process documentation as required to validate customer and internal requirements are met throughout all phase of product development and the quality management system.
  • Monitors changing developments in all manufacturing departments and reports any changes to the Supervisor and fellow Engineers so that the changes can be studied and adopted for use in future estimates and processes
  • Assists with determining gauging requirements & communicates with all departments to assure the most economical inspection process per the Company's current capabilities and procedures
  • Assists in the design of in-process drawings and tool designs
  • Reviews non-conformance documentation and initiates corrective action both internal and external and maintains databases
  • Participates in Process Control including SPC implementation, training, and data analysis
  • Work with all departments Assists with internal audit program
  • Performs contract review regarding quality requirements
  • Able to prepare and present FAIR packages to customers

  • Trains company personnel regarding customer quality specifications
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • A self-starter, with good communication skills, that can work in a fast-paced changing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 QMS, AS9102 First Article, & AS13000 Standards
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in SPC data gathering and reporting
  • Experience in MSA evaluations such as Gage R&R
  • Experience in CMM programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Aerospace manufacturing preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or complex processing a plus
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as Quality Engineer
  • Microsoft 365 experience
