Job summary

Jarvis Airfoil, Inc. in East Hartford, CT, is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen our precision manufacturing for aerospace components. You will develop inspection methods, run internal audits, and drive process improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with some Quality Engineering exposure; GD&T is a plus. You will collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure conformance and support certification reviews.

Qualifications

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering is required; some Quality Engineering experience is a plus.
• GD&T knowledge is desirable but not required.
• Experience with audits and process improvement is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Standard Procedures and Inspection Methods Sheets.
• Perform internal audits.
• Participate in customer and third-party audits.
• Lead process and procedure improvement projects.
• Utilize SPC in quality workflows.
• Engage in customer relations and process approval projects.
• Support certification reviews.
• Read and interpret blueprints; GD&T knowledge is desirable.
