Job summary

A leading quality engineering firm in DeLand, Florida is seeking a Mid-Senior level Quality Engineer to maintain ISO 9001 compliance and manage internal audits. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and familiarity with data analysis tools. Exceptional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Compensation ranges from $38.00 to $43.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

  • Prefer 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Technical QMS knowledge – Certified Quality Engineer or other ASQ Quality Certification preferred.
  • Automotive QMS experience preferred (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain QMS based on ISO 9001.
  • Investigate and resolve customer quality inquiries.
  • Manage and perform Internal QMS Audits.
  • Perform data collection and analysis.

Job description

Overview

Base pay range: $38.00/hr - $43.00/hr. This range is provided by Compunnel Inc. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  1. Knowledge of ISO 9001 (current rev) to aid in maintaining QMS
  2. Knowledge of customer quality inquiries, investigate and perform root-cause analysis on customer issues and effectively resolve them (CAPA) (8D)
  3. Continuous Improvement Activities, Lean Manufacturing Principles, 5S, Kaizen
  4. Manage and perform Internal QMS Audits
  5. Material Review Board Quality Representative
  6. Perform data collection & analysis; SPC and DOE analysis
  7. Measurement system analysis (MSA) and Gauge R&R
Qualifications
  1. B.S degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline
