Coilcraft, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer in Cary, Illinois to support customer and manufacturing quality initiatives across our global operations. You will partner with customers to define quality requirements, analyze performance, and drive process improvements.

The role involves working with manufacturing to conduct capability studies, perform statistical analysis, audit readiness, and develop quality procedures. Strong communication and experience with IATF 16949 are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of Quality Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Hands-on manufacturing and inspection experience
• Strong understanding of quality tools and statistical methods
• Excellent communication and customer support skills

Responsibilities

• Define product quality requirements with customers and partner to ensure conformance
• Support reliability, performance analysis, and customer quality requests
• Assist manufacturing with process capability studies and statistical analysis
• Evaluate inspection and testing equipment to validate quality
• Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructions
• Prepare and approve manufacturing procedures, drawings, specifications, and test documentation
• Participate in customer and internal audits and drive corrective actions
• Collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, and Marketing/Contracts Administration
• Provide guidance on IATF 16949 compliance

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support customer quality, manufacturing quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across our global organization.

About the Role and Your Impact

• Partner with customers to define product quality requirements
• Support reliability, performance analysis, and customer quality requests
• Assist manufacturing with process capability studies and statistical analysis
