Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Experience in leading quality systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Position: Director of Quality Location: Cary, Illinois

Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a worldwide reputation for high-quality magnetic components used in telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking an experienced quality leader to drive quality strategy, compliance, and continuous improvement across our global manufacturing organization. This role will partner with executive leadership, engineering, operations, and customers to ensure our products and processes continue to meet the highest standards worldwide.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred
• 10–15 years of progressive quality leadership experience
• 5+ years leading quality systems in an ISO/TS16949 environment
• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience presenting quality metrics and driving organizational change
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, and administering customer and supplier quality agreements or contracts is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise with ISO 14001, RoHS, REACH, Halogen, and related environmental standards
• Experience working with global suppliers and international manufacturing operations
• Strong statistical analysis and data presentation skills
• Customer-facing quality management experience
