Safran Cabin in California is seeking a Quality Engineer 2 to join the Quality team and support the in-flight experience through robust quality systems.
You will design inspection and testing methods, analyze production quality, and participate in RCCA, 8D, FMEA activities. Responsibilities include reviewing ECNs, calibrating equipment, training staff, and maintaining compliance with AS9100D.

Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Quality Engineer 2, you'll play a pivotal part on our Quality team.
The Quality Engineer will design, or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, analyze production and service limitations and standards, recommend the revision of specifications, and formulate quality assurance policies and procedures. Conduct training on manufacturing quality assurance, lean manufacturing and SPC concepts and tools. The Quality Engineer is the control point for the analysis, reporting and training of a product line or lines. This job reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

BS degree is preferred or equivalent work experience in related fields.
3-4 years' experience within the quality environment. Quality certification strongly desired.
Proficient with Microsoft Office® programs ®, Office, and with MRP systems. Advanced Excel skills.
Certified blue print reader. Good trouble shooting skills and strong communication skills required.
AS9100D knowledge and application
Proficient in RCCA, 8D problem-solving methodology, and FMEA
Skilled in blueprint reading and interpretation
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office® programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, experience with MRP systems
