Job summary

Saxon Global is seeking a Quality/Manufacturing engineer with aerospace experience to support PFMEA and PPAP deliverables for nacelle structures. You will work on root-cause analysis using RCCA tools, develop APQP documentation, and ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 and FAA Part 21 requirements.

You will interact with customers and manufacturing teams to translate data into actionable quality improvements, leveraging CATIA/3DX and SPC methods in a demanding aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience on PFMEA for aerospace structures.
• Experience in aerospace structures/Nacelle quality or manufacturing.
• Develop APQP and PPAP deliverables.
• Root Cause/Corrective Action using RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, 5 WHYs, 8D).
• Statistical methods and SPC in manufacturing.
• Experience in Aerospace domain and AS9100/FAA Part 21 requirements.
• Proficiency with CATIA/3DX for design interfaces.
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, composites and metallic failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical views translating data into actionable insights.
• Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and feedback to manufacturing and development teams.
• Lead or support PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP activities across programs.
• Manage RCCA actions, track containment, corrective actions, and verify effectiveness.

Job description

• Experience on PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) preferably aerospace structures / Nacelles
• Experience in aerospace structures / Nacelle quality or manufacturing experience.
• Develop Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) deliverables.
• Works on Root Cause, Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D, etc.).
• Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control. Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
• Experience in Aerospace domain
• Experience in ISO9000 or AS9100, FAA Part 21 and structural conformity requirements.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx preferred)
• Experience in Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite, and metallic failure modes.
