Job description

We are conducting a confidential search for a Quality Engineer with a company that is a global supplier of industrial components to the paper, packaging, and wood products markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based in the greater Oshkosh area.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Establish, maintain, coordinate and develop continuous improvements objectives related to implementing and maintaining ISO 9000, Management Review, and any other additional customer quality requirements
• Ensure Quality System integrity by direct involvement with all APQP and PPAP activities. This includes all responsibility to maintain and up-date all customer APQP documents such as ASAM, VSAM and any other customer directed process.
• Attend regular APQP meetings internally with team members to up-date status Maintain visual communication board on PPAP status and new launch information.
• Responsible to maintain, monitor, and report monthly on activities for the plant results.
• Customer Quality contact for all APQP quality deliverables for all program launches.

Target Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a Quality Engineer
• Experience in the paper and/or packaging industries is a plus
