Prysmian is seeking a Quality Engineer to partner with manufacturing teams to drive QA standards, process controls, and DMIAC-style improvements across the plant.
The role emphasizes MSA, QMS, ISO 9001 conformance, data analysis, and continuous improvement to achieve RTFT and COPQ KPIs. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership are essential.
The Quality Engineer will work with multiple departments focusing on analytic support, QMS and gauging improvements throughout the manufacturing plant. Responsibilities will include activities such as monitoring performance of quality assurance standards, processes, and controls.
A result-driven individual with proven ability to work in a high-performance manufacturing environment with a passion for quality engineering. Good attention to details, but able to see the big picture. Must be able to manage multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure. Must be able to drive projects. Critical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities and technical understanding. Good written and oral communication skills. High energy; demonstrates urgency and fast pace. Utilizes leadership attributes to interpret the toughest situations in a constructive and empowering way and drive vision for the organization. Ability to motivate and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
BS degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related OR at least 5 years of applicable direct experience within the Quality field in lieu of BS Degree – required.
