Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to regulatory standards and customer requirements through audits, policy development, and risk mitigation strategies. This role requires promoting a culture of accountability and driving compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and manage onsite audits, including hosting external customer and regulatory auditors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality and compliance.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for employees on quality systems, regulatory standards, and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance trends to ensure adherence to new and changing laws.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a quality role in the aviation industry.
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards in relation to FAA requirements.
• Familiarity with industry quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO9000.
• Experience in coordinating/conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
• Ability to collect and interpret information to make data-based decisions.
• Experience working with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
