A Day in the Life

We are seeking meticulous and detail-orientedQuality Documentation Reviewer / Assembler III candidates to join our Dexter, MI manufacturing site. This unique role will begin with a focus on document control and quality assurance for approximately 12 months, supporting a critical compliance project. After the project concludes, you will transition into a hands-on production assembler role, contributing directly to the manufacturing of life-saving medical devices.

As an Quality Documentation Reviewer / Assembler III, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety—first through documentation review, and later through precision assembly work.

Schedule for Phase 1 (approximately 12 months):

  • Monday through Friday, 8 hour daytime shift (can begin at 6, 7 , 8, or 9 am)

Schedules available for Phase 2

  • 1 st shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • 2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • 3rd Shift : Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6: 30 0 0 AM

What You’ll Do – Phase 1: Documentation Review

  • Review and verify data in lot history records, including signatures, dates, and training documentation.

  • Perform basic calculations to reconcile production data.

  • Identify and report documentation discrepancies to supervisors.

  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do – Phase 2: Production Assembly

  • Assemble components using diagrams, schematics, and written instructions.

  • Perform continuity checks and quality inspections.

  • Use tools and equipment to prepare, modify , and test products.

  • Support production lines and mentor junior team members as needed.

Work Environment

  • Phase 1 will be primarily computer-based; Phase 2 will involve hands-on assembly work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE.

Compensation:

  • $21.33/hr, plus annual bonus, full benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, paid tuition benefits, family and medical leave benefits, and more!

Minimum Qualifications (Must Have)

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic computer systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures .

  • Full English reading comprehension and intermediate verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

  • Prior work in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Background in quality inspection, team leadership, or document control.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$45,200.00 - $67,800.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
