Are you a senior-level QA/QC expert with experience in PTFE, piping, reactive metals, exotic materials, and fiber optics? We have an exclusive opportunity for a highly specialized QC Director to join Albemarle on a one-year contract with the potential to convert to a permanent role.

Remote role with up to 25% travel for vendor & site inspections

Lead and establish QA/QC processes & inspections

Support global capital projects, manufacturing, & R&D facilities

Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System

Strong experience in non-destructive testing & compliance standards

This is a critical hire for Albemarle, as the previous QC Director unexpectedly passed away. The company is seeking an experienced leader who can drive inspection best practices, manage vendor quality programs, and oversee compliance with industry codes and standards.

Must have:

15+ years in QA/QC within petrochemical or industrial environments

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and technical expertise

Hands-on experience with PTFE, reactive/exotic metals, fiber optics (preferred)

Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, NACE, NFPA, and other relevant standards

Ability to develop and manage a quality team
