Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Quality Coordinator, a registered nurse, to coordinate and evaluate data on quality and patient safety indicators, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting performance improvement.

The role requires a BSN (or degree within five years), Kentucky RN license, recent medical-surgical/critical care/quality experience, BCLS within 90 days, and strong computer/word processing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or must obtain degree within five years of hire.
• Active Kentucky RN License.
• Experience in medical-surgical, critical care, quality, case management or research within the last two years.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days.
• Knowledge of computers and word processing software with strong analytical and attention to detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, implements, and evaluates data on quality/patient safety indicators to maintain quality/patient safety standards.
• Assists in providing direction in facilitating change and monitors the change process.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends in quality/patient safety and accreditation standards.
• Supports hospital-wide initiatives and accurate data entry into necessary software.
