Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Quality Coordinator, Registered Nurse, to join our quality and patient safety team in Kentucky. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing data, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and CMS standards to drive performance improvement.

The position requires nursing leadership, data-entry accuracy, and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff to support hospital-wide quality initiatives and ongoing accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or progress toward degree within five years.
• Active Kentucky RN License.
• Experience in medical-surgical, critical care, quality, case management, or research (past two years).
• BCLS within 90 days.
• Strong computer and word-processing skills with good analytics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, implements, and evaluates data on quality/patient safety indicators to maintain quality/patient safety standards and encourage performance improvement activities.
• Assists in providing direction in facilitating change, participates in the plan for change, monitors change process, conceptualizes and applies ideas to resolve issues and approaches.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends and advancements in quality/patient safety by reviewing current literature, attendance at conferences, and collaboration among professionals within the community.
• Maintains current knowledge of accreditation and CMS standards and supports hospital wide initiatives.
• Accurately performs data entry into the appropriate software.
