Leggett & Platt is seeking a Quality Data Analyst to join our product development team at the IDEA Center in Carthage, MO. This role combines data quality assurance with document control to ensure data accuracy and up-to-date documentation across the organization.

The position requires travel up to 50% and collaboration with multiple teams to improve SPC and related systems. A strong eye for detail and proficient data skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools.
• Proficient with SPC software and Minitab.
• Knowledge of document management software.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized, timely, and self-motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Cross-functional collaboration across teams.
• Good time management.

Responsibilities

• Travel to branch locations 25–50%.
• Produce Data Quality Reports with key metrics and high-risk areas.
• Develop Data Quality Trending Reports to identify patterns and elevate issues.
• Use statistical tools, process mapping, and compliance frameworks for quality improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality Data Systems Manager to advance SPC and related software.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Services on Machine Intelligence projects.
• Support Samples, Beta Run, and PPAP initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality Specification team to advance specifications.
• Create and maintain SOPs (PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions).
• Support new product documentation as needed.
