Our ideal candidate will have the following:
Performs high level analyses in support of institution-wide clinical quality improvement activities. Facilitates the development and maintenance of data collection, leveraging existing data to identify gaps in care and recommends areas of focus for quality improvement activities. Accurately collects and records specific data elements from patient medical records based on established criteria and guidelines. Performs data abstraction of clinical findings from medical records and data entry in clinical data systems.
The system Quality Outcomes and Reporting team provides analysis of quality data, handles quality reporting and oversees CMS quality incentive programs for the system. The team works to prepare standard and ad hoc reports, supports regulatory reporting, interprets data, and presents key trends and important findings enabling site and department leadership to turn them into actionable insights and improve our patient’s outcomes.
