Briggs & Stratton, LLC. in Auburn, Alabama, is seeking a Quality Technician to perform specialized tasks in Die Cast, Gage Lab, Dyno, and supplier quality, plus SPC data trend reporting.
The role requires 1.5 years of quality experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication and teamwork. You will calibrate gauges, support incoming material quality, and maintain quality systems on the shop floor.
Performs assignments that require special skills such as Die Cast, Gage Lab, Dyno, or Supplier Quality. Performs process capability studies, Gage Measurement System Analysis (MSA)s, and Gage calibration, and report on Statistical Process Control (SPC) data trends.

May be required to lift or carry product parts, and/or other materials of various smaller sizes and weights up to 17 lbs
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
