Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support off-shift QA audits, incident response, and SAP-based disposition tracking. You will also assist with analytical testing, the environmental swab program, and instrument verification.

Requires HS Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field is preferred. 1–3 years in manufacturing, quality, or food safety is preferred.

• 1–3 years of manufacturing, quality, or food safety experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Daily QA audits and process verification.
• First point of contact for food safety and quality incidents on off shifts (evenings).
• Track and process finished product holds using SAP inventory system.
• Process vendor non-conformances in SAP.
• Assist with analytical testing and support environmental swab programs.
• Verify instruments and maintain calibration records.
• Maintain electronic quality data and support trend analysis.
• Prepare and lead product evaluations and quality training; support documentation.

Employees will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour lunch break.Environment – Noise levels will be high; temperature will be climate controlled in some areas and equal to ambient temperature in other areas. Lighting is sufficient and floors can be slippery.Compensation and Benefits:The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $31.00.Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
