QUALITY COORDINATOR - 2nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for tasks supporting the goal of delivering zero defects in build and assembly processes. They support customer satisfaction by leading or assisting in problem-solving on the floor, coaching and training team members on quality topics, and addressing quality concerns in operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work safely and help maintain safety standards at the site.
• Communicate quality status to the team and management, facilitate the setting of quality goals, and provide training to improve quality.
• Conduct quality control inspections, checks, and tests during assembly, including materials, parts, and products at various production stages to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Support and assist with internal and external audits, identify gaps, collaborate with teams to resolve concerns, and report results to management.
• Visit customer plants to investigate quality performance and process customer returns.
• Evaluate materials against quality requirements, identify supplier and internal defects, and report findings to management.
• Maintain quality test data files and generate quality reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 3+ years of quality control experience, including at least 1 year in an automotive manufacturing or assembly environment.
