Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in Illinois is seeking a Quality Administrative Support professional to assist with workload documentation and daily quality operations, helping the Quality team and divisional partners maintain records and compliance.

You will review documents, coordinate actions, run reports, and help manage inventory and record retention, with weekend shifts possible; prior QA or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of quality assurance or quality control experience.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Review documents to ensure accuracy based on established procedures.
  • Provide administrative and communications support for quality operations, including responding to inquiries, coordinating information flow, and maintaining quality-related documentation.
  • Assist with coordination of corrective actions as required by process deviations, procedure deviations, complaints, regulatory audits, customer audits, and internal audits.
  • Under supervision, prepares reports for management, customers, etc.
  • Supports the effective execution of Medline's Quality Management System and Quality Policy to help ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Owns tasks associated with inventory management and implementation of Medline’s record retention policy.
  • Assist with applying, altering, and removing quality holds as it pertains to responding to quality issues.
  • May occasionally require weekend shifts pending business need.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in quality assurance or quality control.

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

Preferred Job Requirements
  • FDA regulated industry experience.

  • Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$20.25 - $29.25 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
