Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Quality Coordinator in Orange, CA. The role pays $30.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule in a professional environment. You will review records for GMP compliance, coordinate batch and packaging documentation, support CAPA and supplier qualification, and assist with audits and documentation control.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA/QC, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and SAGE ERP. A related degree and GMP training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Experience with GMP audits, CAPA, and documentation control.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAGE preferred).
• Knowledge of FDA regulations including GMP guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and quality records for accuracy and GMP compliance.
• Coordinate BPRs, MMRs, packaging records, and label documentation.
• Support CAPA, investigations, and product disposition activities.
• Assist with supplier qualification, audits, and quality documentation.
• Support inspections and verification activities across operations.
• Participate in audits and maintain audit readiness.
• Maintain training records and quality documentation.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a strong quality culture across Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, and Laboratory teams.

Job Duties

• Review manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and quality records for accuracy, completeness, and GMP compliance
• Coordinate Batch Production Records (BPRs), Master Manufacturing Records (MMRs), packaging records, and label documentation
• Support material review, investigations, corrective actions, CAPA programs, and product disposition activities
• Assist with supplier and vendor qualification processes, audits, certifications, and quality documentation
• Support manufacturing and packaging operations through inspections, line clearances, sampling, and compliance verification
• Assist with internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits while maintaining audit readiness
• Maintain training records, quality documentation, and record-retention requirements
• Participate in root cause analysis, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a strong quality culture and collaborate with Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Laboratory, and Maintenance teams

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Training in FDA Regulatory Compliance and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Certifications such as ASQ, PCQI, Train-the-Trainer, or related quality programs are a plus
• Knowledge of FDA regulations including 21 CFR Parts 111, 117, 210, and 211 preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience
• Dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or regulated industry experience preferred
• Experience with GMP compliance, audits, investigations, CAPA, and documentation control
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAGE preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience supporting supplier qualification, material review, and quality records management

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Quality Coordinator.

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform floor audits and inspections throughout the facility
• Ability to review detailed documentation and electronic records accurately
