  • Master’s degree in behavioral health, Public Health, or related field with 2+ years in behavioral health quality improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in behavioral health quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly internal audits to ensure licensing and accreditation compliance.
  • Track and analyze incident reports, grievances, and satisfaction surveys.

  • Lead committee facilitation under the Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement.

Description
Position Summary:

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the psychiatric residential and community based treatment setting. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards, promotes evidence-based practices, and supports continuous improvement in clinical and operational processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Monitor adherence to clinical protocols, treatment plans, and documentation standards.
  • Conduct weekly internal departmental audits and reviews to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
  • Track and analyze incident reports, grievances, and satisfaction surveys.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports, quality dashboard and quality improvement plan to leadership and the CWPP- Quality Committee.
  • Develop and manage quality improvement initiatives focused on client safety, care outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Under the direction of the Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement, facilitate the CWPP-Quality Committee, Healthcare Disparities Committee and the Data Committee.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices and fidelity protocols.
  • Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics and quality indicators.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits and evaluations.
  • Generate quarterly and annual reports summarizing quality trends and outcomes.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on quality standards, documentation, and compliance.
  • Support onboarding of new staff with quality-related orientation and education.
  • Submit and maintain all required quality-related data in designated external reporting systems, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, Day Shift, in-office position.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health, Public Health, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, residential or healthcare quality improvement.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, Public Health, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in behavioral health, residential or healthcare quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, regulatory compliance, and clinical standards.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of medical records or supplies (up to 25 lbs).
  • Ability to walk across a multi-building campus to access records and support staff.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of files or supplies (up to 25 lbs).
  • Use of computer and office equipment for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel between on‑site and off‑site program locations.
