Job summary

Delray Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Stroke Program Coordinator to plan, direct, implement, coordinate and evaluate the effectiveness of the facility stroke program.

The role requires strong clinical acumen in stroke care, knowledge of program protocols, and ensuring quality education, care, patient management, and performance improvement across the program.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate Degree in Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Minimum: Five (5) years registered nurse experience; At least one (1) year of experience in neuro setting.

• The Stroke Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the effectiveness of the facility stroke program.
• The stroke program coordinator has a strong clinical acumen in stroke care including knowledge of program protocols that ensures facility integration of services in the care of the stroke patient for the purposes of maximizing positive health care outcomes.
• The stroke coordinator is responsible for ensuring quality in all areas of education, care, patient management and performance improvement activities for these programs.
