Job summary

Luxor Staffing is seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our manufacturing QA team. The role involves verifying finished packaging codes, inspecting products for quality issues, and ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA and USDA guidelines.

You will document quality results for supervisors, help maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced food-grade facility. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred; prior packaging quality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Quality role requires experience in food-grade facilities.
• GMPs knowledge and regulatory familiarity beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor packaging codes against specifications.
• Inspect products for quality issues and remove defects prior to packaging.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors with quality documentation as required.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure product quality to meet FDA/USDA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Luxor Staffing is hiring a Quality Coordinator paying $19 per hour. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Job duties:

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree preferred
• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
