Job summary

Zoetis Lithia Springs facility seeks an experienced Chemist to join the Quality Controls Laboratory. You will perform routine chemistry assays, analyze data, and support test result release. The role involves SOP drafting, investigations, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Regulatory, and QA teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Chemistry or Biochemistry degree with 2–6 years (MS) or 4–8 years (BS) of lab experience, and proficiency with HPLC, Empower, and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• MS 2–6 years of chemistry lab experience, or BS 4–8 years.
• Experience performing/troubleshooting/developing chemistry assays.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to train colleagues and maintain quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily decision-making by analyzing data and making recommendations.
• Execute and troubleshoot routine assays; document deviations and investigations.
• Draft SOPs and implement improvements; participate in LEAN events.
• Perform basic data analysis and generate routine reports.
• Assist with transfer projects and interdepartmental collaboration; train staff.
