Job summary

Zoetis in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Chemist for the Quality Controls Laboratory to support testing and release of products.

You will perform routine assays, analyze data, draft SOPs, and contribute to investigations, with collaboration across Manufacturing, Regulatory, and QA. Ideal candidates hold a B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry and have 2–6 years (MS) or 4–8 years (BS) of lab experience, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• M.S. with 2–6 years of chemistry laboratory experience, or
• B.S. with 4–8 years of chemistry laboratory experience.
• Experience performing / troubleshooting / developing chemistry assays.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare data analyses and recommendations to support daily decisions.
• Execute and troubleshoot routine assays and document deviations.
• Draft SOPs and drive defined improvements; participate in LEAN events.
• Perform basic statistical analysis and generate routine reports.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Regulatory and Quality Assurance teams.
• Support transfer projects and data analytics in the laboratory.
• Assist in training and SME reviewer activities and CAPA investigations.
