Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a maintenance position in the Lake Charles, LA area. You will plan and coordinate the quality control program to ensure continuous production meeting established standards.

This is a non-exempt role reporting to the Site QC Manager or QC Supervisor and involves a range of routine duties within policy. Essential qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years in welding/QC/inspection, and preferred CWI certification.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in welding, QC, and/or inspection.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and understands the QC program and standards.
• Witnesses tests and conducts inspections to determine acceptability.
• Performs audits to ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Maintains quality records and related documentation.
• Plans and organizes quality and reliability activities.
