Job summary

Fenix Parts, Inc. in Queensbury, NY is seeking a QC Technician – Warehouse Worker for a Monday–Friday, no-weekends role. You will inspect parts for wear, record discrepancies, refurbish to meet standards, and handle packing and shipping documentation.

The position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and organized inventory control. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years related experience with heavy equipment to move vehicles or fragile objects; forklift certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Excellent close vision, depth perception, color discernment and ability to adjust focus.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine stock and brokered parts for wear and defects and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Record discrepancies in the part’s description and work with internal resources to rectify problems.
• Examine part appearance to confirm it meets established standards.
• Refurbish parts to bring them to appearance standards.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix labels to prepare materials for shipping.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, packing lists or invoices.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping and delivery instructions.
• Deliver or route materials to staging area using hand truck, forklift, or other equipment.
• Requisition and store QC and shipping materials to maintain stock inventory.
• Housekeeping in the QC area.
