Job summary

Fenix Parts, Inc. is seeking a QC Technician in Palmyra, NY to join our warehouse team. The role focuses on inspecting parts for wear, documenting discrepancies, and ensuring appearance and labeling meet company standards. Heavy lifting and basic computer use are required, with forklift experience a plus.

The position is Monday–Friday, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO. Join a growing recycler of OEM auto parts across 27 locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training with heavy equipment to move vehicles or fragile objects required; forklift certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Excellent close vision, depth perception, an ability to see color, and an ability to adjust focus.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine stock and brokered parts for wear and defects and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Record discrepancies in part descriptions and work orders; coordinate with internal resources to fix issues.
• Inspect part appearance to meet company standards and perform refurbishment as needed.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix labels to prepare materials for shipping.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, packing lists or invoices.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping or provide delivery instructions.
• Deliver or route materials to staging areas using hand trucks or forklifts.
• Requisition and store quality control and shipping materials to maintain stock inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the QC area.
