ABB is seeking a qualified candidate for an onsite role in the US to lead testing and inspections during manufacturing, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures. You will execute tasks according to workflows, report non-conformances, and document results in line with ABB safety guidelines.
The position requires 8+ years in manufacturing, strong data analysis, and a solid understanding of engineering processes.

Quality Supervisor
In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct testing and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Each day, you will execute the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and report any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by performing tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.
Onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility. You will be mainly accountable for:
Manufacturing plant environment requires a combination of hands-on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes, is required to ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to safety guidelines is essential for all team members.
The work environment requires physical endurance, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards to contribute to a productive and rewarding workplace.
