Job summary

Cannon Industries in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Quality Technician to perform dimensional and functional inspections of purchased materials and manufactured parts. You will verify conformance to prints, process sheets and specifications using micrometers, calipers, CMM and other instruments.

The role requires reading drawings, understanding tolerances, and maintaining PPAP documentation. The ideal candidate supports quality improvements across Manufacturing and Engineering and ensures QA

Qualifications

• Know and understand the use of inspection equipment listed.
• Read and interpret drawings with geometric tolerancing.
• Familiar with ISO 9002 or TS16949 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections.
• Provide inspection results for PPAP documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date QA records and travelers.
• Support quality improvements with Manufacturing and Engineering.
